Our Consultant, Carol, has been part of Dr. Goon’s staff since 1989. She is well versed in the intricacies of insurance procedures and management. Here is what we often hear:
- Do you take my insurance?
We often accept assignment from insurance plans leaving the patient only responsible for deductible and co-pay.
We will research and coordinate with insurance companies.
- How do I get the most from my insurance plan?
We constantly monitor changes in frequency limitations, fee schedules and insurance benefits for patients
- Do I have to handle the paperwork?
We submit claims for patients whether its for payment or reimbursement.
- How can I pay for my dental work and understand what will be done for me?
- Inform patients of available financial options. We accept cash, major credit cards, as well as, personal checks.
- Create an individual treatment plan with feasible financial schedule.
- Endeavor to explain the process in easy to understand terms. A written treatment plan with all options discussed will be provided.
- Willingness to field all questions big and small with alacrity.
